Can stress cause itching?

I've had itching all over my body for two months and it won't go away. I went to the doctor, I'm taking medication, but it's not helping. If it were scabies, I'd be itching for two months, but nobody else in the house is itching. It's not going away. I don't know what to do. My whole body is constantly itching. Is there a solution at home?
